Our Moore Equine Team

Evan A. Moore, DVM

Born and raised in Southeast Michigan, Dr. Moore’s first horse was a black gelding named Rebel.  Little did he know then that his love of horses, adventure, and Michigan would lead to opening Moore Equine Veterinary Services.

Dr. Moore has been a practicing equine veterinarian since 1989. His unique approach to treating horses delivers clients and their animals distinct and compassionate care.

Dr. Moore graduated with his DVM from Michigan State University. He met and married his wife, Amy Moore, during vet school.  Together they have three daughters who all share his passion for horses.

These days, when he’s not working on horses, you’ll find Dr. Moore on the ice playing hockey or teeing off at the local golf courses.
